[Description:]
When I change my account's password twice in a row, the new password isn't updated after the first time.
[Steps:]
- Click on the hamburger menu
- Click on Sign in to Firefox
- Sign in with a valid account
- Click on the account menu
- Click on Manage account
- Use the password option to change it.
- Change it once, the door hanger is shown and the password is updated.
- Change the password again
[Actual result:]
The door hanger is not shown and the password is not updated.
[Expected result:]
The door hanger is shown and the password is updated.

Thanks for switching the component. I was in between password manager and Firefox accounts since both components were used here.

Yeah so were we, but :dimi gave it more than the cursory look I did and it looks like there is something password manager related to investigate here..

I tried to debug this but I found out I can't reproduce it today. I'm not so sure if accounts.firefox.com changes how it changes the password.
Florencia, could you help check whether you can reproduce this bug now? thank you!

Hi,
Sorry for the delay, I was on holidays. Yes, I've verified that this bug was fixed on beta, release, esr, and nightly. So I changed the status of the bug.
