Details

The user interface for the webapp has a lot of issues. It's based on jquery and jquery components that are no longer maintained. The layout itself is muddy with repeated bits (multiple crash ids shown, protected data notes everywhere, etc) obscuring values. Some forms are difficult to use (supersearch).

We're due for an overhaul that:

  1. simplifies the interface making it easier to read crash reports and signature reports
  2. simplify form controls making it easier to use forms
  3. reduce technical debt by using libraries that are currently maintained
  4. (optional) works better on mobile
