Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:86.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/86.0
Steps to reproduce:
Leave Firefox running for a few hours with tabs open (doesn't matter what tabs)
Actual results:
The browser will become slow to respond. Eg: typing a url and hitting enter will do nothing then after a brief pause it will go to the URL. Clicking refresh on a page will do nothing and then after a brief pause will refresh. Typing is very slow to respond to the keyboard. Only within the Firefox window nowhere else in the system.
Running: Linux Mint 20.1, Firefox 86.0.1
This didn't happen until the last update that was pushed. Reverting back to an older version corrects the issue. Closing/re-opening the browser also corrects the issue.
Expected results:
Respond normally.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
I've switched to Brave for now because Firefox is not usable in it's current form and I don't want to keep using an outdated version due to security updates.

Okay, Thanks.
No sooner I posted this and Firefox 87 was pushed out. I'll give it a go and let you know if it's solved.
