The following Firefox probes will expire in the next major Firefox nightly release: version 90 [1].

MEDIA_CONTROL_SETTING_CHANGE

What to do about this:

1. If one, some, or all of the metrics are no longer needed, please remove them from their definitions files (Histograms.json, Scalars.yaml, Events.yaml).
2. If one, some, or all of the metrics are still required, please submit a Data Collection Review [2] and patch to extend their expiry. There is a shorter form for data collection renewal [3].

This telemetry was added to measure if user would use the toggle button to turn on/off the media control feature, and to know how many users would disable this feature. According to collected data [1], around 50% users would use the toggle button to control the feature. And not many users disabled this feature (less than 1k on Beta). Therefore, we can deduct that (1) UI is useful for users (50% usage) (2) users feel good to live with the media control feature (not significant sign to disable the feature)

I will remove this probe, because it has completed its task.

This would cause a test failure in browser/components/preferences/tests/browser_media_control.js if left unchanged.
