Quicklaunch fails to stay open when all Mozilla windows are closed in XP SP 1
making it useless.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Open a Mozilla window
2.  Close Mozilla window

Actual Results:  
QuickLaunch Quits

Expected Results:  
Quick launch should stay open

No error is given, Talkback doesn't come up.

WFM on Windows XP SP1, Build 20020916

Reporter, could you please check the following:

1. Has QuickLaunch been been enabled under Edit->Preferences->Advanced? 

2. If Quick Launch has been enabled and you have changed the theme for Mozilla's
UI, Quick Launch will quit after you close all the open windows to allow you to
view any new Mozilla Windows with the new theme. See if the problem occurs when
you haven't changed the current UI Theme.

3. If you haven't changed the theme and Quick Launch is enabled but Quits after
closing all open windows, could you download a nightly (you are using nearly a
month old build from August 26) and check to see if this problem repro's.

1.  Yes
2.  Theme has been Modern for quite some time
3.  Happened when I last tried a nightly (about a week ago).  Can't try one now
since my school network is a bit slugish (would take several nights to get a
nightly).  I plan to try 1.2 when it's released.  Though 1.2b did not fix the
problem.

I can also still reproduce it with 2002111512... I think this is a lost cause
til' 1.3... So I won't bother on nightly's for a while.

bug 146340 says the icon disappears for a few seconds-depends on your machine
speed- but it does come back and you should be able to see process in task manager

Iain or Robert,
can you provide steps tor reproduce?  I am using 11/18 build  and nothing I do
(except change theme) causes icon to disappear

It's literally once all Mozilla's windows close... The App quits, then relaunches...


Doesn't matter how long the window is open, how many, or how long the system has
run for.  


I agree that it is a Dup.
