User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Mac is set to Dark Mode
  • The Dark theme from Mozilla is enabled
  • Invoke the Open/Save modal (you can Command-S right here), or right click for a contextual menu

Actual results:

The modals & menu use the system Light Mode styling

Expected results:

Like every other application, I would expect the modals/menu to respect the dark mode set by the system.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Cocoa' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Cocoa
Product: Firefox → Core

Context menus will be addressed by bug 34572.
Other dialogs will be addressed by bug 1623686.

I'm going to close this as a duplicate of bug 34572 for now.
