Details

As discussed in bug 1700931 removal of this preference affects the AngularJS community so we should work with them in https://github.com/angular/angular.js/issues/17117 to figure out a reasonable timeline. If nobody weighs in I'd suggest we wait a month or two and then remove it and let it ride the trains.
