User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Start firefox via https://github.com/mozilla/web-ext
- Focus address bar
Actual results:
The striped background in the address bar moves around when its focused. This happens because the background is anchored at the bottom and not at the top. See the attached video for a demonstration of the issue.
Expected results:
The background should not move around.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Sorry, I didn't realize the panel background is due to web-ext -- "remotecontrol" actually. It's definitely annoying how it moves around.

Yup, this is due to remote controlling Firefox. Don't any themes or extensions installed there.

The whole background is annoying with web-ext. I wonder whether it's intentional. It doesn't seem necessary and it wasn't like that last time I used it, but that was a couple of years ago.

The striped background has a bit too much contrast for my taste too. I like a strong visual indicator to show that this instance is remote controlled nonetheless. Otherwise I'd confuse it with my main Firefox window.
