See attached screenshot, especially next to "This time, search with:" it's pretty much impossible to see. Other favicons look a lot more vibrant.
(I also found it weird that a theme I configured due to a prompt from Firefox suggesting it could not be found in about:preferences. I eventually found about:addons, but that took me a while.)

Could be related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1337397 since they indeed use a mask-icon
