Steps to reproduce:

I have an issue with about:logins,
I can not access my login data because it asks for my windows credentials via an UAC promt.
Of cause I know my windows credentials however I have a two factor authentication software installed( RSA) that also applies to the firefox credential screen.
BUT it always says authentication failed, all other windows UAC RSA authentications work.

Actual results:

Always getting "Authentification failed"

Expected results:

after entering correct credentials access to stored passwords

Hi warp,
Could you help attach the screenshot of the authentication dialog and the contents of about:support? I want to know if the problem you are experiencing is related to UAC or OS Authentication.
Also, It will be great if you can help test whether this bug is still reproducible after setting signon.management.page.os-auth.enabled pref to false (via about:config). Thank you!

Hi Warp, thank you for the help. Looks like this is related to OS authentication issue we encountered in Windows (Bug 1624255).
We currently only enable OS authentication in nightly build because of stability issues. You can work around this by setting the signon.management.page.os-auth.enabled pref to false.
