currently we dont support WMF images. It could be nice if we did. Perhaps some
kind of plug-in for ImageLib

WMF is no standard and isn't that good a vector graphics format. Focusing on SVG
support makes more sense, IMO.

Yes, SVG should be supported.  But WMF has been around a long time.  There are plenty of clipart libraries with their cartoon images in WMF form.  It is head-in-the-sand stuff to ignore a file format just because it was invented by the Evil Empire.  Should open source products only support 'good' formats?  Pretty subjective judgement I'd say.

You're right, WMF is an image format.  WMF stands for Windows MetaFile.

BTW---does any image filter used by GNU support WMF?
Filter on "Nobody_NScomTLD_20080620"
