User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open Firefox, in either safe mode or not
  • Leave it opened for a few minutes

Actual results:

Memory usage has risen to about 10GB, at which points it stopped because memory usage reached 100%.

Expected results:

Memory usage should stay low and constant, within a range of few dozen MBs.

Hi saaryogev,

Could you plase describe whether it is the same thing happening in your case just as in Bug 1427594?
Also, could you please try and reproduce this with all the addons disabled and also by using a fresh profile?
Let me know how it goes, thanks.

The memory report seems normal. If you could also help describe the exact steps to reproduce this problem and possibly attach a performance profile (https://profiler.firefox.com) , that would be appreciated.
