We are able to print from the command line at the shell prompt, and even if we
enter the command from the properties window within the browser. We are using
the Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS) as the printer server. We enter the
printer in the environment variable MOZILLA_POSTSCRIPT_PRINTER_LIST which
allows for us to select the printer from the pull-down menu. But when we edit
properties or make any changes, the changes are not saved. Worst of all, we
cannot print to the printer we select from the pull-down menu. We get the
following error when trying to print:
lp: error - no default destination available
It appears that the browser is not able to talk to the CUPS server, or to the
HP-UX system properly. Any ideas?
Please help!!
Thanks.

What command line you are using for your printer?
For me, I'm using "lp -d <printer name>".
