User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0

Steps to reproduce:

I am using mozilla 88 on Windows 10 Home 20H2. Sometimes when you type or move the cursor around the screen, a strange frame appears that repeats the elements.
This started when i upgraded to mozilla 87.
I recently upgraded to 88 and the same error keeps popping up.

Actual results:

The screen shows an strange frame that repeats the elements.
On the attached file you will see an example.

IIUC, the driver here is from 2-18-2016. Should we be allowing WR on these machines?

Flags: needinfo?(jmuizelaar)

Yeah, WR should be allowed on those machines. I expect the issue does not reproduce for others with the same driver.

Rares, can you try out the 20.19.15.4390 on similar hardware and see if you see any problems? https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=20.19.15.4390

Ray, can you try setting gfx.webrender.compositor=false restarting the browser and see if you can still reproduce the problem?

Hi Jeff, We tried reproducing this issue with an Intel HD 530 with the driver version that you mentioned but we couldnt reproduce the issue at all. Unfortunately we do not have an Intel HD 520 to try this on.
Also the OS on this machine is a Windows 10 Enterprise edition 20H2 os.build : 19042.085.
We tested on Release, Beta as well as our latest Nightly build and we couldnt reproduce this issue.

Hello everyone, thank you for your responses.
I set the gfx.webrender.compositor property to false as it told me
Jeff Muizelaar, and I have worked normally without the error appearing.
Can I continue to use Firefox with that property set to False? What consequences would it bring?

Thanks in advance!!!
