There seems to be a thread (programming thread, or OS thread) syncronization
issue between the message download threads: the one that is started by
"Offline->Download/sync now" and the one that is initiated by the user interface
by entering into newsgroup. If the "sync/download" thread is downloading message
headers for that newgroup, there might be "funny" efects - like doubled unread
message count, or unread message count zero or... This seems to result a
corrupted index file (*.msf) for the newsgroup....
Using 1.2 alpha, same problem was in 1.0, I skipped 1.1
