User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0
Steps to reproduce:
I've just noticed this bug since using Firefox under Wayland in Ubuntu 21.04 (where Wayland is now the default display server). Firefox is setup to use Wayland as well.
Actual results:
I have my Bookmarks Menu item setup as a toolbar icon, in the space reserved for bookmark toolbar items in Firefox. When I run Firefox under Wayland, this toolbar item gets cut off, and scrollbars are inserted (see attached pic).
I think this bug occurs because I'm using 4K resolution at 200dpi in Ubuntu. It does not occur at 1080P resolution at 100dpi, or when using Xorg.
Expected results:
Bookmarks Menu toolbar item should show the full menu under Wayland, at 4K res and 200dpi, without the need for scrollbars.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Can you please test latest nightly under Wayland? A new popup handling code landed there.
Thanks.
Thanks for the update. I'm away from my computer until next week now, so I'll definitely test this out once I can access it again.

Please re-test with new nightly as it gets another popup fixes.
Thanks.
Hi, I'll be back at my computer next week (hopefully), and will test this then. Unfortunately, I've been away from home longer than hoped for.
Hi, thanks for your patience. I was able to get back on my PC today, installed nightly on Ubuntu, then imported my bookmarks from Firefox stable.
I'm happy to say, this issue is now fixed in the latest nightly, and the bookmarks dropdown in nightly (under Wayland) appears just the same as the one in stable running under Xorg.
Thanks, Paul.

Good, Thanks.
Hi, the bookmark changes have made their way to the latest stable build (Firefox 91). Thank you for fixing this.
However, I've noticed a further issue when running Firefox under Wayland at 200% scaling (on a 4K screen). The Firefox options menu gets cut off in Ubuntu & KDE Neon (similar to the bookmark bug). This is the options menu, that can be accessed by the hamburger menu in the top-right of Firefox's window.
I've attached a screenshot to this existing bug report, showing the issue under Wayland in KDE Neon. Do I need to open a new bug report for this problem, or can I append it to this bug report?

Please open a new bug for it, attach content of about:support and screencast of the issue if possible.
