[Prerequisites]:

  • Have Firefox Beta 89/Nightly 90 open.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Move the “Save to Pocket” button to another position on the Toolbar. (Right click on browser toolbar> “Customize Toolbar…” option> Drag&drop the “Save to Pocket” button)
  2. Pin the “Save to Pocket” button to Overflow menu. (Right click on the “Save to Pocket” button> “Pin to Overflow Menu” option)
  3. Click on the Overflow menu button and unpin the “Save to Pocket” button. (Right click on the “Save to Pocket” button> “Unpin from Overflow Menu” option)
  4. Observe the position of the button.

[Proposed result]:

  • The “Save to Pocket” button is moved to the Toolbar in the position chosen before it was pinned to the Overflow menu.

[Current result]:

  • The “Save to Pocket” button is moved to the Toolbar in the default position.

[Notes]:

  • This behavior happens for all buttons from the browser Toolbar.
  • Attached is a screen recording of the current behavior.
