Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to https://www.etsy.com/listing/667908964/hummingbird-stained-glass-window?ref=hp_prn-3&pro=1
  2. Scroll down to have the Photos of Review carousel in view
  3. Navigate within the carousel using the > and < buttons

Expected Results:
Navigation within the carousel should be smooth.

Actual Result:
The "Photos from review" carousel navigation via the > and < buttons is jerky. Recording of the issue: https://streamable.com/pk6grd

Regression Range:
RC 89 and Release 88.0.1 are not affected, this is a regression, will search for the regression range asap.

Note:
Could not reproduce on Windows 10 desktop devices.
Not reproducible on Chrome nor Safari.

Mozregression revealed that this is a Nightly only regression caused by Bug 1659227. Can also confirm that disabling layout.animation.prerender.partial fixes the issue. That pref is disabled by default on Betas and Releases, updating flags accordingly.

Edit: I can reproduce with both Webrender enabled and disabled as well, as long as the above-mentioned pref is enabled.
