Steps to reproduce:

I recently worked on replacing the tab status indicator in a custom theme.

Actual results:

Photon is confusing with inconsistencies and a lot of highlighting, while Proton has too many marks to be omitted.

Expected results:

I think the container & sound indicators I've been working on are quite useful.
Could it be upstream?
