Clicking on the padlock icon causes the address bar to not react on clicks

Steps to reproduce:
- Click on padlock icon
Actual results:
Padlock icon stays in darker grey color than usual after the mouseclick, like the way it usually is when there is a "Site information" popup below it currently showing.
While it does stay in that color, the popup that should show on click does not show.
After the click and while the icon stays in that color, the address bar doesn't react to mouse clicks - it doesn't become active.
The problem resolves when Firefox window loses focus to a different app.
The problem seems to have appeared in Firefox 89.
Expected results:
Padlock icon should continue to show its darker grey color when clickes, but should also work and show the "Site information" popup. Address bar should be able to be clicked and become active even after the padlock icon has been clicked.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi Lyubomir, Thanks for taking the time to log this issue, I also tried to reproduce this issue on my end on an Ubuntu 18.04 with Firefox Release, beta as well as out latest nightly build but the padlock only remains active as long as the site information panel is displayed, the moment I click anywhere else the highlight and the site information panel dissapear.
What OS are you using ? also can you please try to reproduce this issue with a fresh profile ? you can find the steps here on how to create a fresh profile :
Also can you please try our latest Nightly build ? maybe it was already fixed by a different issue, you can find the build here:

Are there any other steps that maybe I can try on my end in order to reproduce this issue ? I cannot reproduce the issue by simply clicking the padlock, the moment I click it it will open the site information panel and when I click outside or the padlock again it will disappear.

I believe since 89.0.1 i cannot exactly reproduce this issue, although sometimes there is a 0.5sec - 1sec delay between the moment when the padlock is clicked and when the dropdown appears.

Glad to hear that, it may have been fixed with our recent changes then, I will close this issue as works for me for now and if you can reproduce the issue again we can definitely reopen it, Thank you for your info.
