User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1134073
  2. Press Ctrl+F and search for "dom"
  3. Press Enter or the down arrow icon to navigate to the next result, repeatedly

Actual results:

Matches #6, #7, #8, and #10 through the end (#32) are not highlighted.

Expected results:

Each match should be highlighted as the user navigates among the results.

Weird. As far as I can tell, the "missing" occurrences of dom on the page are not actually there. Only the ones found by the findbar are in visible text on the page. Inspecting the page source confirms that there's only a few real occurrences of dom.

The occurrence is there, it's just in the preview text of bug 1134073 comment 71

Ah, you're right. Thank you. I'm going to dupe this to bug 622801. While this isn't exactly the same as that bug, they both have to do with finding obscured elements.
