Steps to reproduce:

Maximize a firefox window. Place mouse cursor on top-right of screen.

Actual results:

Nothing happened.

Expected results:

Window should have closed.

This behaviour is present on both X11 and Wayland.

Using bundled "System theme".

I've only one monitor connected.

Place mouse cursor on top-right of screen and perform left-click.

As you can see on these screenshots, the closed button has a circular shape and its hit-box is also circular when it should be square like other applications do.

I confirm the problem with Firefox 116, if you maximize the browser then put the mouse cursor at top right corner, the pointer doesn't activate close button like it's the case with Chromium and all Qt and GTK3 apps. The ability to close the browser by placing the mouse pointer at the top right corner then clicking is an easy accessibility that help users do it fast without searching hard for that small close button. This issue only happens with Firefox 116 and Thunderbird 115. See attached image for more image.
