If you have a request without a specific requestee, then those requests show up as unformatted, and not part of a table. This is ugly. Note that this only happens if you're sorting by requestee, so the same problem may exist if its possible to get a NULL value for anything else you can sort by. I don't think that it is possible, though...

Code is dumber and more robust.
