Steps to reproduce:
Its a heavily loaded Firefox esr.
I try to keep as close as possible to current version in Debian testing (bullseye at present) using lightdm and lxqt.
(Going from memory on load) 45+ windows with likely well over a thousand tabs likely with only a hundred or so active tabs.
Due to a violent thunderstorm and an ensuing power outage was forced to shutdown the system.
After power was restored (many hours later) I restarted the system.
Upon restarting Firefox only the single page appeared.
Actual results:
Restarted Firefox (which had the 'restore previous session' marked) to a single blank page.
Expected results:
I expected that all the pages and tabs would have been restored.

Hey AJ,
I tried reproducing this issue using Ubuntu 18.04 with the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 91.0a1 (2021-06-11), beta 90.0b5, esr 78.11.0 and release 89.0 but it restores all my previously opened tabs.
Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .
