User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
When Firefox updated recently, it changed my theme and everything at the top of the window, including the tabs, is white. I went to Settings | Extensions & Themes and tried different Themes. The theme I was using was "System theme" so I selected it again after trying some others.
Actual results:
Everything at the top of the window has a white background. I can't see borders around the tabs, so it's hard to tell where one stops and the next one begins. I can't see where the tabs end and the strip at the top of the window begins.
Expected results:
It's supposed to have a black strip at the top of the window, and the active tab is supposed to be white. The "Add-ons Manager" tab shows what it's supposed to look like. It's enabled, but my window doesn't look like that. A co-worker just notified me of the same issue. Apparently her Firefox just updated and her theme is now screwed up too.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Theme' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for submitting this issue as feedback for the new design. Will mark this as a New Enhancement and add a whiteboard to be reviewed by the developer team.
Best,
Clara

Firefox got a new design in Firefox 89. The theme previews in about:addons were adapted in bug 1708717.

Sören is right, and so there isn't really a point in keeping this bug open; the removal of the aubergine titlebar/tabstrip was intentional.
