I propose to create an additional shortcut for back / forward navigation using the combinations "cmd + left cursor key" and "cmd + right cursor key" like it is in use by Internet Explorer. Cmd-[ and Cmd-] are already in use and can stay so, but they are not easily accessible on non-us keyboards.
