As of bug 1577886, Socorro is now recording crashes with mac_crash_info. This bug is to keep track of crashes whose signatures contain "gpusGenerateCrashLog" and whose "graphics kernel error" is '0xfffffffe/-2'.
They are almost certainly caused by one or more Apple bugs. There may not be anything Mozilla can do about them, beyond keeping track of them.
The "graphics kernel error" '0xfffffffe/-2' is defined in the /System/Library/Extensions/IOAcceleratorFamily2
kernel-mode graphics driver (where it's considered a "context error"). It means something like "out of bounds".
The number of these crashes is small, and (so far) about evenly divided between AMDRadeon (i.e. "ATI") and Intel graphics hardware. Unlike most of the rest of the "graphics kernel error" crashes, these haven't increased substantially with the release of macOS 11.3.

Just pinging, Steven: Is this behavior still happening for you with current macOS + Firefox?

I've never experienced one of these crashes myself. They're still happening, but only on macOS 12.1 build 21C52 and below:
So it's possible that Apple fixed these crashes in macOS 12.2.
