Environment:
Operating system:iOS 14.4.2
Firefox version: : Firefox Daylight 34.0 (4920)

Preconditions:
ETP set to STRICT
Clean profile
VPN set to the US (except Washington)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to : https://luckylandslots.com/loader
  2. Observe the result

Expected Behavior:
The content of the page loads

Actual Behavior:
The page is stuck in a loading state and a warning message is displayed regarding Ad-blocker

Notes:

  1. The exact link must be followed, as the main page loads
  2. The page also returns an error message after successfully loading
Summary: Page content does not load content with ETP set to STRICT at luckyandslots.com → Page content does not load with ETP set to STRICT at luckyandslots.com
Severity: -- → S3
Webcompat Priority: --- → ?

It took a while, but the page loaded for me in strict mode, though it reveals a "only available in the USA" screen instead of a request to put the device in landscape mode. I did see a request to disable my popup blocker, but it did not seem to break anything.

@Raul, does this issue still reproduce for you?

Flags: needinfo?(raul.bucata)

Thomas, after a couple of seconds/ tens of seconds, the "Disable pop-up blocker" request disappears, and the message to rotate the device is presented. So now, the page is not stuck in a loading/downloading state. But the top message is only displayed in Firefox, which disappears once the page has finished downloading/loading. I have used a VPN actively pointing to the US.

Tested with:

Browser/Version: Safari 15.5/ Firefox Daylight 100.1 (9384)
Operating System: iOS 15.5

Flags: needinfo?(raul.bucata)

Then this seems like it's probably iOS-only breakage, so I'll mark it as such.

No longer blocks: tp-breakage
