This issue also occurs on the attached PDF file, page 9, "Part E: For completion by Court/Tribunal staff only", sections E2, E4, E5, E6. Interestingly enough, it does not occur in the case of sections E1, E7, E8.

Checkboxes are not in an exclgroup so it's very likely a matter of action in JS here which can make checkboxes behave like radio buttons.

Recognizing as a generic XFA since the blocking bug is bug 1706133. Please change it if it is related to a dynamic XFA issue.

Hi,
First of all, we would like to know if this issue is still relevant, since it is marked as WONTFIX.
As we use Firefox ESR as our official browser accessing insurance applications, editing a fillable pdf file is one of the features our 5000 users do every day in their work.
In order to simplify our business procedures, we would like them to use FF pdf viewer instead of launching Acrobat PRO to edit/print/save pdf files.
As reported, we are experiencing the same issues with checkbox and radio buttons in pdf files, especially in the print preview and even with the download version after filling the form.
What we get in the print preview is not what you see on screen.
The incorrect cases show multiple radio buttons from a group are checked rather than only one. For the checkboxes, all of them are checked even if just only one was clicked...
We will get the same results when editing the form once we've saved it to local disk after filling the document.
We reproduce the issue in FF-102.15.1.esr and FF-115.3.1.esr
Making the same tests with Chrome 117.0.5938.150, every thing works as expected ; i.e only one radio button is selected and only clicked checkboxes buttons are marked.
Please let us know about the situation of this issue, if wontfix or otherwise which delay you're about to fix this issue.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

:Squad_Swap, do your pdfs contain some XFA forms ?
If not, could you make a try in Firefox nightly and if you can reproduce your issue, please file a new bug in attaching a pdf ?

Hi,
I've tried with Firefox nightly.
Malfunctions still occur ; i.e even if the form is not modified but just opened, the print view shows some boxes being checked.
I will create un new bug with attached sample file and screen copies.
