Steps to reproduce:

From an android phone to a Windows 10 PC :

• send a tab from phone device to the synced PC
• open a private session on the synced PC (right click in taskbar > new private window) when all instances of Firefox are closed

Actual results:

A private window opens, then another non-private opens with the synced tab opened.

Expected results:

Only the private window opens.

Thanks for the report - this is kinda the "other side" of bug 1534148 and both would probably end up being done at the same time.
