This bug report should either be closed or merged with the one that Talam posted above. It is a duplicate.

This bug is about unpackaged Firefox app. Bug 1549103 is about MSIX packaged Firefox app.
I would like to leave this bug open because some bugs (such as bug 1736742) may be unresolvable as long as we use MSIX package.

Mozilla has already made a decision. They'll never do that... at least for an extremely long time.

The commenters above are correct. There really isn't a reason for this bug to be open anymore, let alone exist. Close it, merge it, delete it, I don't know. Just pick one. There is just no need for this bug to stay open anymore. No more excuses!
