Details

When using the junkbuster proxy (http://www.junkbuster.com/) have observed intermittent behaviour when using tabbed browsing where Mozilla fails to render the correct page. The proxy (running on localhost) reports that it is loading the desired page components but actually renders a new copy of the parent/requesting page (from which the new tab was generated). Typing in the correct URL and hitting enter in the address bar does not fix the error. Requesting that the link (from the original page) open in a new browser also re-renders the original page in that browser. Only by shutting down all mozilla instances can the effect be neutralized.

Just want to add that Junkbuster has been obsoleted by Privoxy 3.0.0 (http://www.privoxy.org/).
