I want to cycle between all of them

Actual results:

OSX 12.6

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Tabbed Browser

AFAIK Command+tab is usually used to navigate between opened programs and windows. If you press Command+ tab and hold command you could select which window you want to open.
If this didn't resolve your problem, please provide more detailed steps in order to understand this better.
Thanks.

Thank you for your reply, I didn't realize I had made a mistake in typing this up, I meant "command - tilda"..!

I couldn't manage to reproduce this issue on macOS 11.04. I opened 4 windows and managed to navigate through all of them using command-tilda.
Did you reproduce this issue on macOS 10.12 or on OSX 12.6?
Do you have on your end other macOS version to see if the issue is also reproducible there?

I am so Sorry, I never received any notifications for this bug, so I was unaware that there were follow-up questions...!

I have discovered the cause of the problem and it persists in version 95

Here is what I discovered: In OSX it is possible to have several desktops and sometimes if you have several browser windows open they can appear on the "wrong" desktop, for example on my system, in OSX 11.6.2 I have firefox assigned to "desktop 2" but sometimes after re-booting one of the browser windows will appear in desktop 3 or 4, in addition to the "main" browser window appearing in desktop 2..

When several open Browser windows are open but some of them are accidentally appearing in the wrong desktop, they cannot be brought to focus using command-tilda.

I hope this clarifies the problem.

To type tilda on my keyboard I have to hit the "option" key, and while holding the key down hit the "n" key as well. Pressing on Command key with previous keys combination didn't do anything on my end.
What key do you use exactly for tilda?
Thanks.

On a US layout Apple Keyboard, the tilda is the key to the left of the "1" across the top row.

Hi, I also tried to reproduce this issue on a Mac OSX 11.1 but the Command + Tilda shortcut works on my end as well.
Hitting Command + Tab will open the app Switcher and moves focus Forwards while Command + Tilda moves Focus Backwards between apps.
After Command+Tab is pressed and App switcher is displayed Hitting Command + UP shortcut will show the Windows from each App, after which pressing on Tilda will keep switching between windows, even windows from a Different Virtual Desktop.

However I think one of the main issues here is that Firefox opens on the wrong Virtual Desktop which occurs because of the "Open Previous Tabs and Windows" option being checked in about:preferences, This issue is also being tracked here in Bug 1796989.

Adding the Qa-not-actionable tag since this issue can't be reproduced on our side.
