Details

The application mentioned shows a "Firefox is unsupported" banner, but it appears to be working just fine if we spoof as Chrome. Based on the comments in the web-bug, this intervention can have a very limited scope to https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/*, but has to apply to all frames, as one of the things shown is inside an iframe.

Included in v24 as tracked in bug 1714611.
