User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox with webrender enabled.
Open another program, such as looking-glass-client and The Witcher 2 with proton.
I am on laptop, tried to run them on same GPU and different GPU, all the same.
Actual results:
Firefox stops rendering it's UI and webpage, but everything else is normal, YouTube video is still playing (I can hear the sound, but no graphic), I can open, close tabs, and close Firefox window.
Expected results:
Well, should render graphic properly.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Can you try to disable GL WebRender? With latest nightly, go to about:config, set gfx.webrender.software to true and restart Firefox.
Thanks.

Does Firefox render the page again if you hover it?
Sometimes, I see something similar when playing Minecraft: The YouTube video (VAAPI) is still playing and visible (in my case), but everything around it becomes plain black. I can fix it by hovering the page.

If I set gfx.webrender.software to true, Firefox will repaint correctly after I played some games.
