Setting as S3 since this is non-critical functionality, though no workaround exists to still use the feature for this site.
Using mozregression, I narrowed this down to bug 1640490.

I don't think this actually a regression from 1640490. Readability.parse() returns null for this page.

It's different error with blank body now, but it can render the title, only. is there any fix ever land on this? there're a lot of web pages that's long and I think Firefox should address it.

Just want to bump, this still a problem, and the page is blank after changing to reader mode. is there any fix in the future? Other browser works fine, only on firefox it is broken.

Hello, just want to bump... this is still a problem, does this mean Mozilla won't work on this?

This is a P3, so unlike P1/P2 bugs it's unlikely to be prioritized. There are over 200 other bugs on file against reader mode, and another 200 or so in the github repository that tracks bugs like this in the library we use, and at the moment our engineers are busy with other work (unrelated to reader mode). I can't really predict if or how or when that may or may not change in the (near) future, and if so, where this will rank against all the other bugs.
