Hi raycy.jp,
Thanks for the report. Can you confirm that I'm following your steps as shown in my video? I cannot seem to be able to reproduce.
Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue?
1- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create a new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
2- Are you using add-ons? If so could you please list them? (you can try the issue while in Safe Mode. You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .)
3- Does this issue occur in the latest nightly version of firefox? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
A component has been assigned in order to get the dev team involved, but if it's not relevant, please feel free to change it to an appropriate one.
Thanks for the report.
Best regards, Clara.

Can you look at the special page about:crashes and see if you have crashes listed there? We need the crash report id to investigate - each report should have a View link, could you add that here?

I've set the font on firefox from linux mint default:Takao to Noto . and monitoring so far..
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1722426#c12
The trouble looks calming ..
It seems being known that the Takao font sometimes makes garbled characters on firefox...
It might be this kind of thing...
Thanks.

i'm not able to reproduce this on Linux Mint, using en-US locale. I suspect this issue is specific to the font and perhaps the japanese locale. I'm not sure why this would be triggered during a screenshot, but I'll move to this to a better component for further investigation.

As you point, the troubles I'm suffering seems concerning to the font or else, when making another tab or window...

So to confirm, if you check "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above", then try to take a screenshot and move the top left corner of the rectangle to the top-left corner of the window, it does not crash?
But if you uncheck that option and move the top-left corner of the screenshot, then it does crash?

This has the crash reason: assertion failed: self.font_contexts.lock_shared_context().has_font(&font.font_key)

No specific ideas, sadly. Seems like this might be similar to bug 1726893 -- some kind of failure passing the expected font over to webrender, which ends up asserting because it expects the font to be there?
