Reproduced on: Firefox for iOS 35.0 on an iPad.

With Google's new dark theme, Firefox inverts the colours back to bright colours when dark theme is enabled.

STR:

  • go to google.com
  • search for something
  • click on the gear icon on the top right
  • click on "Appearance: <>"
  • choose "Dark theme" and save
  • turn on Night Mode in Firefox

Expected: The colour scheme should be dark.
Actual: The colour scheme appears to be Google's night mode background inverted and is bright when using the iPad at night.

Summary: Night mode inverts colours when Google night mode is on → Night mode inverts colours when Google is using "Dark Theme" appearance.
