From https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/ok5ja7/firefox_keeps_flickering_with_black_squares/h649zgf/

It is very apparent on https://bootstrap-vue.org/docs/reference/starter-templates and it happens when I scroll with my mouse wheel. But this also happens on stackoverflow for example.

I don't experience any black squares, but artifacts of some sorts - e.g. text gets rendered twice and a lot of 'blinking' going on.

Setting gfx.webrender.force-disabled to true fixes it.

Asif, is this a dup of bug 1721098?

Asif, is this a dup of bug 1721098?

From the symptom and Attachment 9233361 [details], it seems not related to software WebRender. The symptom seemed more similar to 1638709, though Attachment 9233361 [details] did not show multiple displays.

User confirmed this is resolved in Nightly, so marking as a dupe of bug 1721098.
