Hi Sarah,
Not sure if those requests are triaged, so just pinging you in cased this request was missed.

Hi, is this request for being added to the Treeherder repo or for taskcluster permissions (retriggers and such)?

Forwarding the question to :davehunt . Do you know what I would need for DevTools performance sheriffing?

I believe it's TaskCluster permissions, but also Treeherder permissions. For example, according to bug 1506882 comment 1 we need the is_staff
flag set.

Ah, right, thanks for the reminder. cloudOps manages our databases now, so I don't have any way to update the is_staff
flag myself. The first thing is that Julian needs to have logged into Treeherder at least once so that a user profile is created and stored in the database.
Once that's done, someone from cloudOps will need to update the is_staff
flag for Julian in the User
table to true. Chris, can you help with this? I'd suggest starting with prototype, stage and then making the change in production.
Ben, can you give Julian the same taskcluster permissions as the other performance sheriffs please?

I updated is_staff to 1 in the auth_user
table (treeherder
database) in the prototype/stage databases.
Can you log into prototype and/or stage and see if things are different, Julian?

I logged into https://treeherder.allizom.org/perfherder/alerts?status=0&framework=12&hideDwnToInv=1&page=1 (I assume allizom is using prototype or stage dbs?), and I seem to have sheriffing rights. I can now update alerts, add notes, tags, etc.
So seems to work fine in that environment, thanks!
