profile.meta has evolved into a jumble of information that sometimes requires quite a bit of processing on the front-end (e.g., "oscpu" on macOS, etc.), and can be more of less useful in the end.

We should review this information, fixing it where needed, and working with the front-end to present the most useful and correct information (but keeping more obscure details available in the profile raw json in case they're needed one day.)
