User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0

Steps to reproduce:

*Facebook Container Extension Required
Open a website with facebook trackers ( e.g. quora.com) .

Actual results:

It will close the current tab and reopen the website in facebook container . But it does not keep the last visited pages for that tab i.e. if you clicked on quora from a search result , you can't go back to the result.

Expected results:

It should have opened the link in new tab instead of closing the old one
OR
It should copy the last visited pages of the previous tab to the new one

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'WebExtensions::Untriaged' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Product: Firefox → WebExtensions

This is a bug in the Multi-Account-Container extension, with an existing report at https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues/1496

The extension can however not address this issue until Firefox somehow supports copying/moving history (bug 1381922).
