Firefox for Android
Steps to reproduce:
Trying to close tabs by tapping on ‚close‘ (the little cross at the right side of the tab).
On iPad Pro 2nd gen, newest iPadOS (14.7.1), newest Firefox version, no update available in iOS app store (as far as I can tell, it’s Firefox for iOS (version 36)).
Actual results:
Nothing happens, the tab just stays there. It is absolutely reproducible, it never works. The number of tabs just grows and grows and it is a big mess. (It actually works with an external Bluetooth keyboard by pressing cmd-w but never by tapping; using keyboard was just for testing, I do not operate the iPad with a keyboard in normal operation.)
Expected results:
The tab should have closed, as it die in the past.
The problem exists since a while, just tried to be patient but neither iPadOS nor Firefox update came along that fixed it …

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

got the impression in the meanwhile, it is related to „Request Desktop Website setting on“ in iPadOS Safari settings

Hello, I just checked this on the latest build on Firefox for iOS v9000 (156830) and v107 (15590) with iPad mini 5 (iOS 14.7).
Can you still reproduce it?
