Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Go to thinkbroadband.com/download
  3. Download some files
  4. While the downloads are in progress close the browser
  5. Do nothing when popup informing the user that by closing the browser the downloads are cancelled
  6. Wait for downloads to finish
  7. Observe the toolbar downloads icon

Expected result

  • Download icon should be displayed as finished once the animation for progress completes

Actual result

  • Download progress icon and finished download icon are overlapping after the animation completes if pop-up for cancel download is left open

Regression range

  • Will search for a regression as soon as possible

  • Issue not seen on macOS or Ubuntu

I'm not working on this currently. I know there has been some work in this area recently. I wonder if this is even still a problem?
