Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
-
long ago I began customising the menu bar to accommodate things that would be better in an additional toolbar
-
today I experimentally removed something from the menu bar
-
attempted to drag the thing back to the menu bar
Actual results:
- it seems impossible to customise the menu bar (loss of functionality)
Expected results:
- menu bar customisation

On closer inspection, it seems that there's difficulty with 'Bookmarks toolbar items'.
With (for example) a flexible space and Bookmarks toolbar items already added to the menu bar:
- the flexible space is easily dragged then dropped to the left, or right, of Bookmarks toolbar items
- it's difficult to drop Bookmarks toolbar items to the left of the flexible space.
