172974 - malfunctions in autodetect character coding

hi i'm from korea and many pages i visit have a euc-kr character code.
but without a <meta> tag specifying the code type, phoenix will show the
characters in so called "worm characters" because it interprets the page in
western-latin1.
i see that i cannot turn on the auto detecting feature. is it my problem or is
it not yet developed?
mine's a 'santa-cruz' version of phoenix.

anyway i think this project rocks and i'm spreading it over my buds. good luck

Please query for existing bugs before filing new ones or if you don't know how
to query well, at least read the summaries of the open Phoenix bugs. There are
only about 100 so it shouldn't be too difficult to find out if your issues is
already reported.
