Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:92.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/92.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Be on latest stable Firefox 92 (AFAIK this also happened on Firefox 91 too)
- Enable Enhanced Tracking Protection on Strict mode
- Visit https://ensonhaber.com/
- Watch how the site will become unresponsive, your memory start leak and Firefox will pop-up a banner to stop executing this website
Actual results:
The site became unresponsive and memory started to leak (also CPU usage increased heavily)
Expected results:
The site should have loaded fine without any memory leaks.
Some additional context:
I use Fedora Linux 35, I use Firefox from Flathub (https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.mozilla.firefox) this also happens on distro provided Firefox too. Here is a video. https://streamable.com/hkdlxi

It seems like a shimming related issue.
Tom, would you be able to take a look? Thanks.

This doesn't reproduce for me. I solved a similar issue in bug 1762851 recently, with an update to the SmartBlock GPT shim, which is also kicking in on this page, so I suspect that fix also fixed this. If it's still reproducing in Firefox 102 or higher for someone else, please reopen this issue and let us know.
