Steps to reproduce:

I'm trying to use Reader View for html local files.

Actual results:

No Reader View option available for html local files.

Expected results:

Reader View option available for html local files.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue with both Firefox 92, Firefox 94, and Firefox 87. I used the attached file for testing.

Can you try with a clean profile?

The problem is resolved: it does not appear anymore with FF92.0.1.
