Details

I've noticed much to my dismay that the address bar when using tabs will forget an address under several circumstances. 1) If you don't hit return on the address before switching tabs. 2) If a link fails when you're in another tab In both cases the dreaded "about:blank" appears... Needless to say this is really annoying, especially when you're sifting through 12 pages at once, reading slashdot, and trying to make coffee.
dupe of "URI written in location bars don't persist tab switching (empty tab says "about:blank") (URL is lost when switching tabs if the page hasn't been loaded) (incomplete url is forgotten upon tab switching)" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 104778 ***
