User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:95.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/95.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Write anything in the search bar, don't press the Enter key
  2. Check the search engines icon background color

The dark theme I use I set in previous versions.

Actual results:

Icons have light background but my theme is dark.

Expected results:

Icons should have dark or transparent background.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Search' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

I could not reproduce this issue on the latest Nightly 95.0a1 on Windows 10 x64 - the search engines icons are properly displayed - as it can be seen here.

Nicolaj, please can you confirm whether you reproduce this issue using Firefox in safe mode or with a new profile?
